Show No Show

“Watching Show No Show is a pleasure” - Philadelphia Inquirer. In Show No Show, the relationship that unfolds is awkwardly complicated, mining the spaces between understanding and misunderstanding, play and power, and tenderness and conflict. This project was created with residency support from Omi Internatonal Arts Center, Culture Mill, and The American Dance Festival (ADF). Next Performance: June 29-30, 2019 at Dance Place in DC.

SEX TAPE

SEX TAPE is Part 2 in a longer work entitled Manifesto, about power, care and gender — where Revlock recreates moments in her life but shifts the focus by removing the man, who is replaced with a long-time female friend. ‘I wanted to complicate notions of what friendship can look and feel like, repatterning my own search for care.’ In the midst of #metoo, SEX TAPE physicalizes and brings into the public sphere an image of care and a positive representation of touch. Next Performances: February 15 at Dixon Place, NYC and February 16 at The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia.

Performance of a Feminine Object

In Performance of a Feminine Object a hoop animates a female performer making reference to the historic and cultural disciplining of the female body. In the work there is a tension between poise and chaos, and beauty and awkwardness, sense and nonsense.

Unstructured Time

Unstructured Time is an ongoing practice with a hoop that has resulted in various interations. One being the video above, Love is Like A Butterfly which also exists as a live performance.
